BIKE WEEK – JUNE 1-9

You’re invited!

Halifax Bike Week is happening from June 1-9 and the Bike Week team wants to help you and your organization get inspired for hosting a Bike Week event!

To get you thinking about hosting an event, we’d like to invite you to an evening workshop where you’ll have the chance to brainstorm ideas for your event, connect with other potential event hosts, and learn more about how to put on a great Bike Week event including applying for a Bike Week grant to support event costs. Refreshments will be provided.

Workshop Details:

Location: Harbour East Marine Drive Community Council Room (located just outside the entrance to Alderney Gate Public Library, by the escalators), 40 Alderney Drive, Dartmouth, Nova Scotia

Date: March 12, 2019 from 6:00-8:00 PM

Please RSVP to Eliza Jackson, Bike Week Coordinator at bike@halifax.ca.

What is Bike Week?

Bike Week is a yearly initiative that is about bringing the people, organizations, businesses, and institutions of Halifax together in celebration of not only of cycling but of the potential it has for creating healthier, safer, more prosperous communities in Halifax. Every year, organizations across Halifax host events in their communities in celebration of Bike Week.
