NS Trails is excited to be an official charity for the 2020 Scotiabank Blue Nose Marathon Charity Challenge!
Join us to raise funds in support of the trails community in Nova Scotia!
The Marathon: The Blue Nose Marathon is a charity road race held each spring in Halifax since 2004. This year the event will take place May 15-17. The course allows participants to experience city highlights including Citadel Hill, Lake Banook, Point Pleasant Park and the beautiful downtown core.
The Charity Challenge: The Scotiabank Charity Challenge is a unique fundraising program offered so that Blue Nose participants can make their run/wheel/walk more meaningful by raising funds for a charity.
This year is the first year that the Nova Scotia Trails Federation is participating in the Charity Challenge – and we want you to join us! Donations to our race team will provide us with much-needed resources to support our dedicated community-based trail groups across the province!
There are a few ways you can support NS Trails to raise funds for the Blue Nose Charity Challenge:
1 – Join our team and run/wheel/walk with us! Our team is called the NS Trail Blazers and we’re excited to get moving! We’re looking for participants of all ages to join our team and commit to raising funds in support of Nova Scotia Trails. You don’t have to be a serious runner or sign up for a full marathon – participants can choose from 5k, 10k, 15k, half, or full marathon routes. There are also an additional two youth runs for kids under 15.
2- Donate to our team! You can donate directly to our team here: http://www.something.com
3 – Volunteer during the event!
